Reconnect with your whole self.

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” - Bhagavad Gita

REAL Yoga Therapy is where Science meets the Soul. REAL Yoga Therapy guides a human to live as their whole self in mind, body, and spirit, with ease and support.

You exist. You matter. I’m so glad you’re here.

After all, we are a soul living a human experience through five layers so that we can experience ourself, love, learn and interact with one another in community.

REAL Yoga Therapy mindfully approaches the five layers in a trauma-informed and chronic fatigue informed way that incorproates mindful movement, neuroeducation, breathwork, somatic therapy, relational trauma therapy, bio-energetics, restoration and guided meditation to integrate across the layers of your full existence.

Most excercise and even most yoga just work within one layer, the physical layer, and disregard the rest. Although it is an important layer, after all, it is our container and we call it a body, it is the most energetically dense and is the last to experience pain and suffering. It might make sense to you that if change is focused solely on the physical level, suffering will continue and pain will return until we integrate across the other layers of our human experience to truly shift the consciousness and create a new story in the nervous system.

A holistic, soul-based approach will help you feel aligned in your thoughts, feelings, emotions, sensations and actions.

It is your birthright to live an authentic and embodied life on this Earth - living from your soul part.

REAL Yoga Therapy has been offered locally and nationally to individuals and groups in treatment courts, VA Medical Centers, pre-/post-military deployments, TBI recovery programs, PTSD recovery programs, adult and youth dual-diagnosis addiction treatment centers and as a collaborative approach with neurologists, physicians and mental health providers.

Individual, small group and large group sessions offered.

A few amazing collaborations are featured across local news outlets and more broadly at HuffPost, NPR and New York Times.
